Aside from our regular schedule of classes and workshops, APS is happy to provide demonstrations and workshops for adults or children throughout the community. Our outreach programs help achieve our goals of promoting the art of printmaking and educating the broader community about various printmaking techniques. APS partners with organizations to develop a program that suits their particular interests and audience. We can customize our programs in a variety of ways just for you. The costs of our demonstrations, workshops, and classes vary, depending on the length of the program, the equipment and supplies needed, the number of instructors, and the number of students participating. Experienced local instructors and volunteers staff workshops and demonstrations.
Included among our past programs are children’s art activities at community art festivals and a variety of workshops and demonstrations at community centers including: Abernathy Arts Center, Hammonds House Museum, Hudgens Center For The Arts, Museum of Design Atlanta, Southwest Art Center, Trully Living Well Urban Farms, West End Arts Center, West End Library, WonderRoot, Wren’s Nest, East Atlanta Strut, Grant Park Summer Shade, Mini Maker Faire, Westview Centennial Celebration.
