Calendar
Students will learn the basics of letterpress, from setting type, lock-up, printing and cleaning plus the redistribution of type. Students will be comfortable using both Chandler and Price Presses as well as Vandercook Presses by the end of the 8-week session. Class will include instruction for registration of type and image, as well as teach proper studio etiquette clean up and safety. Students of all levels are welcome.

Atlanta Printmakers Studio is a non-profit community printmaking studio located in the historic West End neighborhood just minutes from downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 2005 to promote the fine art of printmaking, the studio offers access to a well-equipped studio and diverse educational programs that foster the development of printmaking as a vibrant and progressive art form. Each year APS provides the community with a variety of experiences such as classes, workshops, residencies, internships and exhibitions. In addition to activities in the studio, APS offers a continuing calendar of outreach events to serve the local community. We welcome all artists and the general public to join us in creating, learning about, and collecting fine art prints.
