In this course students will learn the basics of screenprinting. The instructor will demonstrate and guide students in preparing hand drawn and digitally printed art for photosensitive emulsion, creating stencils, preparing and exposing screens, and setting up to print both single-color and multi-color projects. Students will also be given the opportunity to explore different experimental techniques that can be employed with a print. This is a project-based course and students will be able to apply these techniques creating a print. Most supplies are included, but students will provide paper and ink.
