MET STUDIO UPDATE:

680 Murphy Ave Suite 6007

We are excited to announce that the studio has reopened under our COVID Guidelines.

After moving into a larger space at the MET, APS is now set up and ready to print. We have prepared the studio for everyone’s safety and welcome artists renters and students back to APS.

Open Studio Hours – Artists are required to sign up in advance to work in the studio on the following days:

Tuesdays, Saturdays & Sundays 10am-4pm AND Thursdays 10am - 9:30pm

Please go to Artist Renters Signup to read COVID Guidelines and make your reservation.

APS’ primary concerns are for everyone’s health and safety. Our priority is fighting the spread of COVID-19 by practicing social distancing. Like so many others, we are faced with a series of challenging decisions about how and when to safely re-open our doors. We’re open to artist renters and registered students. An appointment is required to visit the studio.

We plan on resuming more programing as soon as COVID satistics improve, and we look forward to sharing details with you over the coming months. We ask for your patience as we do our best to get you back in the space safely!

Looking forward to seeing you! In the meantime, stay well,

Kathy Garrou

Important Update on Operating Status Regarding COVID-19

  • In order to further reduce exposure to the virus, visits to Atlanta Printmakers Studio will require an appointment.

  • We have reopened the studio to artists renters through online reservations. Sign up HERE.

  • This change in policy will be in effect until we can be more confident about opening our doors and inviting everyone back in without restrictions.

  • We will continually reassess the situation, determine how to move forward, then publish our decisions.

  • Please do not hesitate to reach out. We have limited access to our office number, so be sure to contact us by email as we sometimes work remotely.

Atlanta Printmakers Studio is a non-profit community printmaking studio located in the historic West End neighborhood just minutes from downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Founded in 2005 to promote the fine art of printmaking, the studio offers access to a well-equipped studio and diverse educational programs that foster the development of printmaking as a vibrant and progressive art form.

Each year APS provides the community with a variety of experiences such as classes, workshops, residencies, internships and exhibitions. In addition to activities in the studio, APS offers a continuing calendar of outreach events to serve the local community. We welcome all artists and the general public to join us in creating, learning about, and collecting fine art prints.
